Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering, Inc. has grown to become a leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance disc brake systems. With decades of experience, Wilwood has developed a vast range of brake components and innovative engineering techniques that allow us to create reliable brake systems for virtually any application. Our expertise lies in the rapid development of custom-engineered brake systems, utilizing a unique blend of off-the-shelf and custom-made components.

While we are renowned for crafting brakes for competitive motorsports, our capabilities extend far beyond the racetrack. Wilwood also designs and manufactures braking systems for agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, and military vehicles, including heavy-duty brakes for the U.S. military’s Humvee. Our headquarters, based in Camarillo, California, is home to a dedicated team of over 320 employees. We stock an extensive inventory of more than 300 brake calipers, 200 rotor designs, and 100 master cylinder options, alongside a wide range of brackets, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Our inventory ranges from compact calipers for go-karts and light-duty vehicles to robust, original equipment brakes designed for demanding military applications.

Wilwood’s engineering team employs cutting-edge tools such as computer-aided design (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), and advanced dynamic and cycle testing equipment to ensure that our products deliver the highest levels of performance and reliability.
