Five Star Fabricating, Inc. was founded by Carl Schultz and Fran Prestay in the late 1970s to meet the demand for innovative sheet metal parts in stock car racing. Starting with custom fenders for Fran's car, their business took off as racers sought durable, high-quality components. The product line grew from the 1979 Camaro to include lightweight fiberglass, tough polypropylene, and advanced composite race car body parts.
