The CTEK story starts over 25 years ago in Vikmanshyttan, a small village in Dalarna in Sweden. This is where our founder – Swedish inventor Bengt Wahlqvist – created the first ever battery charger to use electronic pulse technology. And, thanks to Bengt’s technical expertise and perseverance, the world’s first ‘smart’ battery charger was born.
Since our start in 1997 our product range has grown significantly to meet the demands of vehicle owners, professional workshops and applications in many other industries.
If you believe your product to still be covered by warranty, and have already checked our troubleshooting page, the faulty product shall be returned, with the receipt to the retailer/place of purchase together with a description of the fault. The retailer shall then provide a replacement product.The warranty period for a product is stated in the applicable product user manual supplied with the purchased product.If you are unable to receive a replacement from the retailer, please complete our web form, selecting “Support Request” and “12v/24v Charging” from the list of options. We will then be in touch with you within 3 working days.
