Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc. warrants its products (except Hi-Performance Products) to the original retail purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operating conditions for as long as such purchaser owns the vehicle in which such product is originally installed. This warranty does not apply to products which have been altered, repaired or improperly installed.
Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc. will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any warranted product which proves to be defective in material or workmanship, provided (i) the original purchaser returns the defective product, transportation charges prepaid, to Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc. with proof of purchase and (ii) Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc. examination discloses to its satisfaction that the product was defective.
