Confident and consistent gear shifts with a manual transmission are crucial for protecting your engine and maximizing performance on every run. The 2 1-1/6” (52mm) AutoMeter Digital Pro Shift tachometer boasts a digital RPM display and a built-in shift light, providing the necessary tools for precise gear changes at the right moment. Its versatile housing design fits AutoMeter 2 in. instrument mounts for easy installation. Despite its size, this robust piece of equipment is designed for professionals, utilizing AutoMeter’s race-proven tachometer circuitry to monitor engine RPM with unmatched response and accuracy. The Digital Pro Shift gauges are compatible with most 1-12 cylinder engines with conventional or performance ignitions, with operating ranges up to 16,000 RPM. Ideal for use as a single-stage shift light, advanced users will value the standard multiple shift light activation points and the optional progressive shift alert features, enabling unique shift point settings for each gear and providing advanced warning of impending gear changes. The included Launch light function aids drag racers in enhancing their 60 ft. times by achieving the optimal RPM at the start. Seven user-selectable shift light colors are available to match visual preferences or to contrast with the instrument color scheme for optimal visibility. The user-adjustable LED shift light brightness can be tailored for visibility from night races to direct sunlight. The digital numeric RPM display can be turned off to allow drivers to focus solely on the shift light activation. Peak RPM memory recall offers a quick review of the highest RPM reached since the last reset. For a more comprehensive analysis of driver performance, an 80-second engine RPM playback recording feature is now standard, allowing a complete review of the last pass.
- Features 4 programmable shift points, adjustable by 10 RPM increments - including Launch Lite, progressive shift, and digital RPM display
- Compatible with 0.5 - 6 pulse ignition signals (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 & 12 cylinder engines) with points, electronic, and most 12V high-performance racing ignitions.
- Seven user selectable colors (white, red, yellow, green, teal, blue, and magenta) to match visual preferences of driver as well as brightness adjustments for changes in visibility conditions
- Features AutoMeter's E-Z View Digital LED Display System which maximizes readability and minimizes distracting high speed digit changes

Since 1957
AutoMeter has been driven to provide performance enthusiasts with the information they need to win. We’ve revolutionized the way that racers and vehicle builders think about instrumentation and vehicle electronics for more than 60 years. AutoMeter was founded by Vern Westberg in 1957. In the early days, Vern would pour sand castings in his family’s backyard, and his sons would help him assemble products in their basement at night.
During our 60+ years, we have developed many industry-leading products from our rev control tachometers and quick responding tachometers to our high technology LCD Competition data acquisition systems. We have set the standard for accuracy, precision, and durability. Today, we have state-of-the-art cellular manufacturing centers, advanced engineering systems, and product technology that is unmatched in the instrumentation marketplace.
